Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef/Food Prep to assist in the preparation and execution of our menu. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes.
This a full-time and part-time position
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
- Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure the highest level of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Collaborate and communicate with the kitchen team.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. No Monday nights.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
